I teach small classes so that each class feels personal and meaningful to you and if you want some extra help then speak to me about one to one private classes.
Each class is choreographed and tailored to the students attending so please book ahead of time to guarantee your space and to help me make your experience the very best for you.
I do provide mats, blocks and bolsters but if you wish to use your own that is fine.
Having a small blanket or shawl to put around your shoulders during meditation can help you keep warm and feels like you’re have a gentle hug from a loved one.
The only other thing you need to bring is an open mind, a compassionate heart and a sense of humour.

This hour long class is a blend of Yoga, Qigong, Pranayama and Meditation helping you find reconnection to yourself, those around you and to the Universe we live in. Movement based therapy centred around the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The studio is open 15 minutes before the class to give you space to disconnect and ground from the busy outer world and then there’s and extra 15 minutes after the class allowing you to soak up a long shavasana or bask in deeper meditation.

Does your mind race, does it feel like it never rests and like there is never a sense of calm and peace.. meditation isn’t just for Tibetan monks it’s for everyone and with just a little practice you to can experience the benefit and calm it can bring.
This class is for anyone and everyone but most importantly this class is for you.
There is a wonderful correlation between art and yoga; both have a literal outer image but both are made up of interwoven layers of expression, emotion, perception and story telling. Both can be deeply personal, either relaxing and calming or exciting and challenging.
In fact two of my teachers have published books with “Art” in the titles; “The Art of Vinyasa” by Richard Freeman and “Zen of Touch, The Art of Zenthai Shiatsu ” by Gwyn Williams.
And so It is with great pleasure that I can now offer the artistry of yoga and Zenthai Shiatsu at CLOSE, Close House, Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset. This collaboration with Freeny Yianni the owner and curator will add yet another dimension to your practice, giving light and focus to facets of your practice that may have been hidden until now.
CLOSE is a discerning contemporary art exhibition and gallery space which centres on sensitivity and excellence with a select rota of established as well as developing artists. Set in the quiet, tranquil grounds of Close House it is a sanctuary, tucked away from the frenetic hustle of life allowing one to stop, reflect and reconnect.
